Sardines in olive oil 25/35

Ingredients: Sardines(Sardina pilchardus), olive oil (27%) and salt.

The production process for sardines in olive oil is very demanding. On arrival at the factory, the sardines are carefully removed from their heads and gutted to avoid breakage. They are then placed on grills and immersed in brine (water and salt), which gives them flavour and consistency. They are then traditionally roasted and packed by hand in each tin. Once the olive oil coating has been added, the tins are sealed and sterilised, a rigorously controlled process that guarantees the conservation and quality of the product for years without the need to add preservatives or artificial additives.
