Mariskito is a family business dedicated to selling fresh fish and seafood from Galicia. Our facilities are located in the Port of Vigo, the busiest fishing port in Spain and one of the most important in the world.

THE ORIGINS OF MARISKITO

Mariskito was established in 2004 as a new line of business for its parent company PESCIRO, SL, founded in 2001, whose core expertise lies in the import and export of frozen fish and seafood from all over the world. It’s managed by a group of professionals with more than 20 years of experience in the fishing sector, and its work is centred around providing top quality service in the supply of fish, imported from across all 5 continents, for the processing industry and different wholesalers throughout Europe.

OCEAN-FRESH SEAFOOD AND FISHTO YOUR HOME IN 24 HOURS

In addition to the traditional distribution and sales channels, since 2004 Mariskito has also been committed to providing an extraordinary online shop, with the aim of delivering fresh fish and seafood directly from the Port of Vigo to customers’ homes within 24 hours. Our buyers select the best products in the early hours of the morning from the principal fish markets in the Galician estuaries. In  that same morning, the orders are prepared, packaged and dispatched, then delivered to the customers' homes the following morning. This means everyone can have top-quality fish and seafood on their table, no matter how far away they are.

Nueva marca Caviar Tibet

OUR NEW BRAND, CAVIAR DEL TIBET

Since 2018, under the registered trademark Caviar del Tíbet, Mariskito has also been engaged in a new venture dedicated to importing, packaging and distributing fresh sturgeon caviar. From our farms in a magnificent natural environment that’s completely free of contamination, we produce caviar for subsequent Shipping to Spain, where it's repackaged in our facilities in the Port of Vigo. Today, Caviar del Tíbet can be found on the menus of many of the most prestigious restaurants in Spain.

GALICIAN QUALITY

In response to customer demand, yet without forgetting our roots, we’ve added a range of other products to our catalogue. Galicia and the sea are core to everything we do at Mariskito, and it's under this premise that you’ll also find an excellent line of tinned fish, a selection of the best Galician meats, prestigious wines from the different Designations of Origin from our region, and even seaweed, harvested and processed in our estuaries and that provides an extraordinary source of nutritional benefits.
