White Tuna Tataki
White Tuna Tataki, try one of the most popular recipes in Asian cuisine.
Ingredients
- 1 loin of white tuna
- 200 ml of soya
- Juice of half a lemon
- Slices of fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Black sesame for breading (50 g)
- 1 red chilli
- Extra virgin olive oil
Method
Put the white tuna loin in a bowl and add the soy, the juice of half a lemon, the ginger slices and the sesame oil. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes, then turn the loin over and leave to marinate for a further 15 minutes.
Cut the white tuna loin into large pieces about 6 cm wide. Put extra virgin olive oil in a frying pan and sear them on the outer sides.
Coat in black sesame. Leave to cool before cutting. Choose a sharp knife and carefully cut into thin slices. Place in a bowl.
Cut the red chilli into very thin slices and garnish. It can also be eaten by those who like it spicier.
Strain the marinade from the white tuna and carefully pour over the slices. Serve also as a sauce to introduce the tataki when eating.
