Cod loin

Piece of fresh, whole Norwegian cod loin, headless and boneless. Each loin weighs approx. 2 kg.

The loin can be prepared as follows:

  • Whole (ideal for cooking in the oven).
  • Cut into portions (fillets) of about 100 g each (approximately 16-18 servings).

The Atlantic cod is a white, saltwater fish. Also known as the common cod (Gadus morhua), it’s the most commonly caught species and lives in the coldest and most temperate seas of Northern Europe.
